XENIA — This November will not be the first time Democrat Krista Magaw’s name is listed on the same race as incumbent Rep. Levi Dean (R-Xenia).

Ohio schools underfunded by $2.75 billion

Yellow Springer Krista Magaw is again asking voters to send her to Columbus — and asking what they need from the state when she gets there.

In her letter of endorsement, Melissa Cropper, OFT President wrote, “based on your dedication to public schools, higher education, libraries, and social workers, we are pleased to support your candidacy,” 

The Ohio Prohibition of Data Center Construction Amendment (2026) is not going to be on the ballot this fall. But take notice. Rural and suburban Ohioans are tired of backroom deals that change their lives and their landscape, benefiting wealthy out-of-state investors and the Ohio elected officials whose campaigns they fund.

I had a fun weekend at the Ohio Rural Caucus Summer Summit. It was great to see other Democrats who are ready to help our party win in small town Ohio again!

Yellow Springs resident Krista Magaw is set to launch her campaign for the Ohio House of Representatives District 71 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday, March 8 at the Emporium, 237 Xenia Ave. in Yellow Springs.
