"I am honored to have the support of the Matriots.
They have always been committed to getting more women elected, and i'm excited to be in a group of great candidates that they're supporting in this election.
Lets go win this thing!"
Krista Magaw has spent her career advocating for stronger communities through environmental protection, healthcare access, and public policy. Now, she is bringing that experience to her campaign for Ohio House District 71, representing parts of Greene and Clark Counties and all of Clinton County. Krista is running to fight for fully funded public schools, fair representation, accessible healthcare, and policies that protect Ohio’s natural resources and rural communities.
With a master’s degree in Public Policy from Duke University, Krista has worked on policy development and implementation at the federal, state, and local levels, including Farm Bill programs, Medicaid plans, land use initiatives, and conservation strategies. As Executive Director of Tecumseh Land Trust, she helped preserve more than 33,000 acres of farmland and natural spaces across Ohio.
Krista believes Ohio families deserve a government that invests in people instead of forcing local communities to shoulder the burden for essential services. She is committed to building an Ohio where every community has access to quality schools, affordable healthcare, and a government that works fairly for everyone. The Matriots are proud to endorse Krista Magaw for Ohio House District 71 because of her lifelong commitment to advocacy, public service, and protecting Ohio communities.
