The Dayton Building and Construction Trades Council has endorsed Krista Magaw for Ohio House District  71.

The Trades Council includes 18 local construction unions representing thousands of trades people in the Greater Dayton Region. Members are from 10 counties, including Greene, Clark and Clinton. The Council is the voice of the Miami Valley Construction Industry.

“We support candidates who prioritize the voices of everyday Ohioans, and Krista Magaw has truly shown that she listens to our communities,” writes David C. Cox, Trades Council, Executive Secretary and Treasurer.

“Krista understands the importance of protecting our workforce, fighting for the needs of rural communities, improving local government funding, and creating local jobs through sustainable economic incentives,” adds Cox.

The mission of the Trades Council includes the development and advancement of apprenticeship training, fairness in labor management and wages, and safety for workers as well as the public.

“We are confident Krista Magaw will be a strong, compassionate, and effective advocate in Columbus. I am proud to announce our delegates’ decision to endorse Krista is unanimous,” states Cox.
