In her letter of endorsement, Melissa Cropper, OFT President wrote, “based on your dedication to public schools, higher education, libraries, and social workers, we are pleased to support your candidacy,”

Krista Magaw, Democratic candidate for Ohio District 71, has been endorsed by the Ohio Federation of Teachers, an organization with 20,000 active and retired members.

In her letter of endorsement, Melissa Cropper, OFT President wrote, “based on your dedication to public schools, higher education, libraries, and social workers, we are pleased to support your candidacy,”

“I am honored to receive this support from the OFT,” said Magaw.  “Equal access to quality education is one of my primary issues. I am committed to ensuring that our educational resources are tied to our educational needs.” As a House District Representative, Magaw will review education budgets and legislation and promote changes to assure that every child in Ohio receives excellent educational opportunities.

Krista Magaw has been meeting with residents of Greene, Clark and Clinton Counties to listen to their concerns and sharing her commitment to make needed changes.

“As a representative,” explains Magaw, “our job is to represent the concerns of the people, not the billionaires. I will be the voice of the people.”
